Haley and Patrick { North Market Engagement }

Haley and Patrick were looking for some creative engagement shots and snow! Well, we got the snow, but by the time Sunday came around, most of it was melted. We met up at the North Market in Columbus, Ohio to shoot their engagement photos. This is my first time shooting at the North Market, and wow what a cool place. We decided to start outside since it was cold, and shoot for a while then go inside to warm up. After the North Market, we moved across the street to Barleys Brewing Company and shoot a few shots of Haley and Patrick having a beer and get some cool shots of the environment!

Javier and Adrienne {Jeffrey Mansion Engagement}

I can’t tell you how much fun these two are. Although a little cold…it was a gorgeous day to take Javier and Adrienne’s engagements.

I really love everything about the surrounding area of the Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley, Ohio. There’s architecture, stairs, woods….everything to capture the awesome personalities and love of these two.

They really did make it easy on me as they always just…fell into place. The only thing easier would have been if Adrienne wasn’t missing a button on her jacket….oh wait did i say that out loud :-) Don’t worry…i fixed it!

I hope you enjoy…its definitely a favorite.

Refuge { Dad’s Cabin }

Dictionary.com defines refuge as: shelter or protection from danger, trouble, etc.: to take refuge from a storm. This is my dad’s “hunting” cabin, I really think it’s also his refuge and a place to drink coffee. Either way, he built it and it’s a great spot to just go and get away, have a cook out, or just sit on the front porch.

I wanted to try my photoshop skills at taking this photo and making it a “Vintage” looking Photo. I think it turned out pretty good.

I have put the “before” and “after” photos. Let me know if you like it!
